Electronics device need to packed in a safe containers, this make it safe from manufacturers to the consumers. Small components in electronics devices make compulsory to be safe, otherwise it can break or burnt out. Any equipment transported or move from one place to
another will be subject to some
degree of mechanical shock &vibration consequently .this will cause:

Careful design techniques using anti-vibration mounting.
Using shock prove washers.
Locking nuts.
Encapsulating of sensitive component
with some protecting materials.
EFFECT OF ELECTROMAGNETIC RADIATION:
Due to alpha and beta rays
(especially of a nuclear nature)
Can cause malfunction of certain
component, especially bipolar solid state devices. For a remote surveillance or
control of a nuclear process in space is susceptible or subjected to the effect
of radiation.
Remedy of Radiation:
Provision of shielding.
Proper choice of component for a
equipment design is a worthy solution.
ELECTROSTATIC:
Problem cause
by static discharge occur in the most industries, such as solid state
electronics component. This posses a
great problem both in of handling and manufacturing of separating the silicon
and the metallisation can easily be
destroy by electrostatic discharge.
REMEDY OF ELECTROSTATIC
Eliminating or reduction of static
electricity by earthing all possible
electrostatic electric charge.
Use of electro-conductive foam system
for the protection of electrostatic component and finish product.
A good working diodes is expected to read low
resistance when forward biased and to read high resistance when reverse biased.
